Honesty, diligence, compassion, energy, and virtue are the core principles of a spiritual life. A commitment to moral integrity is necessary to develop wisdom and clear understanding. These qualities are common sense and simple, yet they are very difficult to put into practice. This talk will share simple practices to help us develop a strong foundation for a spiritual life.
Kruba Chris Bhikkhu is a resident monk at the San Antonio Zen Center. He lived for six years at Forest Dhamma Monastery in Virginia. He studied with Ven. Ajaan Dick Sīlaratano and Christopher Titmuss. He is originally from San Antonio.
