San Antonio Zen Center welcomes Karen DeCotis to SAZC for a dharma talk on Saturday, March 4th!

Karen DeCotis has practiced Zen since the mid-eighties having trained at Green Gulch Farm and Tassajara. She also lived and practiced at Berkeley Zen Center for many years in the nineties. She received Jukai from Zoketsu Norman Fischer in 1992; Sojun Weitsman ordained her as a priest in 2016 and gave Shiho/Dharma Transmission in 2019. In 2002, Karen moved to Bozeman, Montana, and is currently the Guiding Teacher for the Bozeman Zen Group.
